Splitstone Capital LLP is delighted to announce the appointment of Gavin Duke as Portfolio Director.
Gavin brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in private equity portfolio value creation, operational transformation and complex carve-out environments. He has worked across healthcare, chemicals, industrials, recycling, FMCG and business services, with a consistent focus on turning strategy into execution and execution into exits.
Most recently, Gavin was at a leading Pan-European carve-out private equity firm, where he led large-scale transformation, integration and exit programmes across multiple portfolio companies. Across his career, Gavin has delivered material EBITDA improvement through operational excellence, lean programmes, supply chain optimisation, pricing, organisational redesign and data-driven decision making. He has stepped into interim leadership roles where required, including Managing Director and Operations Director positions, in complex and sometimes distressed situations.
Earlier in his career, Gavin was an Investment Manager at Aloe Private Equity, an environmental and socially sustainable private equity firm, where he led investments and exits in the UK, India and China. He began his career as a chemical engineer at Tate & Lyle and Air Products before completing an MBA at Imperial College Business School.
In his role as Portfolio Director at Splitstone, Gavin will work closely with management teams across the portfolio, supporting carve-out execution, operational improvement, growth initiatives and exit readiness.
